“We had a good plan of what we wanted to do whilst in Cornwall, but Susan’s recommendations for local eating places were extremely helpful: we thoroughly enjoyed several of the restaurants mentioned, the Port Navas Yacht Club especially.
Susan was extremely helpful throughout, with good advice before we arrived and a well presented information file at the property. We would have no hesitation in recommending Trelowen as a base for visiting that part of Cornwall.”

“The pictures don’t do the apartment justice – it is finished to a very high standard and everything for a comfortable stay has been thought of. The kitchen has every conceivable utensil as well as good quality appliances and the whole apartment is very tastefully decorated.
Susan’s ‘cheat sheet’ folder has more information than I would ever have thought I needed with recommendations for local attractions, thorough instructions for everything in the house and some background on the building itself.
The gardens need to be singled out for special praise. There’s a beautiful Japanese style sunken garden, numerous exotic trees and tree ferns as well as an abundance of bird life. They have a particularly lovely secret garden feel that makes it seem as if you’re uncovering them for the first time in decades, like a mini Lost Gardens of Heligan.”
